Azin Taneh Co. is a manufacturing company based near Tehran in Iran and is active in the development and production of automotive braking systems for the Iranian automotive manufacturing industry. Currently, Azin Taneh ranks high among the major suppliers of Iranian automakers. The main customers of Azin Taneh are the two largest automakers in Iran, IKCO (a.k.a. Iran Khodro Co.) and SAIPA (a.k.a. SAIPA Automotive Group).
Azin Taneh was established in 1994 by three veterans from the Iranian automotive parts manufacturing industry. With the vast experience and high level of commitment of those men and the dedication of the people who worked under their supervision throughout Azin Taneh's history), the Company has grown to become a respected and well-established supplier of the Iranian automobile manufacturing industry. Today, Azin Taneh's supply fulfills 50 to 70 percent of the demand of brake systems by Iranian automakers. This major share of the supply has been achieved and mantained through sustained commintment to the overall trend in the Iranian automotive manufacturing industry - maximum reductions in final prices without the sacrifice of quality.
Currently, Azin Taneh employs some 50 office employees and about 400 factory workers. Many of the office staff have years of administrative experience in their line of work. The engineering departments are staffed with seasoned senior engineers with vast scientific and technical as well as junior engineers with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical, Electronic, Metallurgy, Chemical and Material Engineering.
All of the above advantages combined with the tremendous business influence of Azin Taneh's senior management in the Iranian automotive industry have maintained Azin Taneh's status in the Iranian automotive parts manufacturing industry as one of the major players; so much so that some of the short and mid-term decisions made in the industry are heavily influenced by the judgements and analyses of the business strategists of Azin Taneh.
Now,
Azin Taneh is proactively investing and researching in the implementation of ABS systems on
IKCO and SAIPA's products, most of which are still using conventional (non-ABS) systems for braking. Azin Taneh faces many challenges and obstacles both internal and external, but none of those perdicaments have hindered its ambitions to achieve the aforementioned goals. The Company has taken important steps toward this new major goal and, in doing so, has spared no effort and overlooked no opportunity of business cooperation with suppliers both inside and outside of Iran. |
