IKCO (more commonly known as Iran Khodro) is the largest automobile manufacturer in the Middle East. It was founded in 1962 by several veterans of the Iranian heavy industries. Bahman Group is the representative of Mazda Motor Corporation in Iran. Bahman Group locally manufactures Mazda pickup trucks and sedans and is also the sales representative for current Mazda products in Iran. Zagross Khodro is the representative of the Malaysian automobile manufacturer, Proton. Proton models that exist in the Iranian market are Wira (discontinued), Gen2 and Impian.
